英単語ボキャブラリ増強のため、1日1個知っている単語を、英英辞書で調べてみることにしました。
私が使っているオックスフォードの英英辞典は、3,000語で単語が説明してあります。→オックスフォード英英辞書を買ってしまった(oxford)参照
調べた単語そのものを覚えるのではなく、単語の説明自体を憶えることによって、語彙を3,000語まで増やそうと思います。
今日は2007年レベルアップ英文法レッスン２より。（斜体は例文）

「adjective」は形容詞
同じ綴りで副詞にも形容詞にもなるってタイプの言葉が、いまいちわからないんだよなぁ・・・
